Candidates Qualifications

  • NC Credentials (1 & 2 highly preferred)

  • Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education or related field

  • Non degree/credential candidates – Minimum of 1 year experience and 10 in-service training hours

  • Current Criminal Background Qualifying Letter

  • Current Health Assessment (within the last 12 months)

  • Current TB Skin Test (completed within the last 12 months)

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Ability to stand, sit, crawl, and interact with children for long periods of time

  • Life-long passion working with kids
